It has recently been revealed that Best Buy is suffering through a weak period in terms of revenue and profit. As the world's largest electronics retailer by sales, it somewhat amazes me that in the generation we live in today with the amount of technology, and the expansion of technology, that the world's leader in electronics is not doing well. The main reason for this is the variety of different retailers nowadays that are taking away from Best Buy. Amazon and Wal-Mart, heavily on the rise, has taken away from Best Buy's ability to consume the amount of sales it needs to obtain to maintain the leader of the pack.
One of the reasons that Best Buy's sales have been decreasing is because the new 3D products that are being created are not selling as much as people thought they would. The kinks within the 3D products, causing headaches and nausea, have led to less of these products being sold. Best Buy, having spent money on the availability to sell these items has backfired. Seems to be that 3D products aren't doing as well as originally thought. I could have predicted that based on the symptoms you get from these products.
